suprematism
images inspired by the work of tony bramley frps and referencing artist kazimir malevich and his contemporaries in the russian avant-garde suprematist movement of the early twentieth century.
photographers will often plan and compose images using lines and geometric forms, actual and implied, and using textures and colours so as to highlight contrasts, capture and hold their viewers' attention and lead the eye. in these works those elements are simplified and isolated to create a new abstract image.
